How are Hale Trailer employees and their families handling the COVID-19 shutdown? If you’re Mike McPeak, from the marketing team, and his family, it’s raising butterflies from caterpillars in a custom built butterfly house. Natalie, 4, and Abigail, 2, received 10 caterpillars by mail, which in a span of two weeks formed into chrysalides, and then emerged as Painted Lady Butterflies. In a front yard ceremony on a gorgeous spring day, the butterflies were released into the wild. The girls were sad to see them go, but happy that they would be able to fly free. And they still have the house they built to raise something else. According to Natalie, Praying Mantis eggs are next on the list.
