Hale Trailer Brake & Wheel, Inc is a multi-location, full service trailer dealership with immediate openings in Eastern Pennsylvania territories, including Scranton, Lancaster & Philadelphia. We are looking for outside sales professionals with experience in heavy duty truck and trailer parts or a related industry.
Responsibilities:
Increase sales of aftermarket truck and trailer parts by calling on existing customers and developing new customer prospects.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining/growing existing customer relationships while identifying and developing new accounts.
- Calling on customers and prospects with the ability to quote profitable programs.
- Implementing Company marketing and sales programs promoting existing and new product lines.
- Maintenance of customer, vendor, and product information to support sales effort.
- Effective utilization of Company CRM programs.
- Develop product knowledge through involvement in Company and vendor sponsored training programs.
- Provide technical support to customers and work with vendors to solve customer problems.
- Proper utilization of Company parts van.
- Delivery of “same day" parts orders during routine sales calls.
- Maintaining awareness of market conditions and customer needs while recognizing cross selling opportunities.
- Adherence to Company safety program.
Requirements:
- Must have 2+ years experience in sales of heavy duty truck and trailer parts or service or a related sales background.
- Must have strong sales skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Must be committed to a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
- Must present a professional, positive, results oriented, problem solving attitude.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment and multi-task.
- Must have good computer skills.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Must pass a standard pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities:
- Perform yard utility functions, a wide variety of repairs, maintenance, installations, replacements, preventative maintenance and diagnostic tasks for various makes and models of trailers in an efficient, timely, accurate, professional and safe manner in accordance with all Company polices, DOT, OSHA and other governmental standards and regulations.
- Experience in moving a variety of trailers in tight spaces.
- Ensure all containers and trailers are safely and securely parked at the end of each day.
Requirements:
- Must present a professional, highly motivated, positive, results oriented, problem solving attitude.
- Must have good communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Must have a strong knowledge regarding the safe handling and operation of trailers, tractors, containers, field offices, forklifts, power jacks, lift gates, power tools, trailer parts and supplies.

- A current CDL Class A license with current medical certification with a minimum of 2 years trailer driving experience with no accidents, suspensions or moving violations for past 3 years is a plus.

Rental Operations / Administrative Assistant

Responsibilities:
Assist branch manager with all activities relating to rental operations and sales administration in Walpole, MA.
Responsibilities Include:
- Answer phones and perform routine office duties.
- Process rental reservations.
- Perform In-bound & Out-bound trailer inspections.
- Roadcall management for rental units, including customer and vendor communications.
- Complete routine yard inventories.
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships including negotiation and procurement.
- Maintain customer, vendor, and trailer files.
- Coordinate all parts and supplies necessary to complete work orders, including review of pricing and approval of vendor invoicing.
- Interface with trailer mechanic / driver.
- Provide excellent customer service and build strong customer relationships with existing and new customers.
- Perform direct marketing activities.
- Comply with the Company’s safety program.
- Interface with corporate accounting and administration, as well as other branch locations as needed.
Requirements:
- Prefer a candidate with at least 3 years of sales administration or rental operations experience.
