Hale Trailer Brake & Wheel Hosts North Carolina Trucking Association Maintenance Council Meeting
On June 14, 2011, Hale Trailer’s Concord branch hosted the June meeting of the Charlotte chapter of the North Carolina Trucking Association (NCTA) Maintenance Council. Two of our teammates, Branch Manager Chris Hill (board member NCTA), and service manager Benjamin Phillips (Maintenance Council member), provided the organization an overview of Hale Trailer’s history and commitment to the transportation industry. Also in attendance was John Harris of Keith Manufacturing, a long standing vendor partner and pioneer in the walking floor industry. John gave a presentation on walking floor trailers including an overview of maintenance and repair and a live demonstration of a Peerless trailer with a walking floor system. The forum also included a table of walking floor parts and components for attendees to view and explore. The meeting had excellent turn-out and participants remarked on its engaging nature and well-constructed and informative presentation. Hale was excited to have hosted the event and looks forward to future opportunities as they continue their support of the NCTA and Maintenance Council. The NCTA Maintenance Council is an organization that provides forums for transportation maintenance professionals to share information and network with suppliers and peers in the industry. There are six chapters of the Maintenance Council which meet regularly and host programs related to a maintenance topic.
